Leica meets Thermokon: The Vienna House Ernst Leitz relies on JOY fancoil controllers
Visitors will find an attractive place for relaxation and business right on the spot: The Vienna House Ernst Leitz Hotel with its 129 rooms, flats and suites plays an important role within the overall concept. Meeting and conference rooms for up to 300 people, a restaurant with a bar and summer terrace as well as a sauna and fitness area provide a wide range of enjoyment.
Intuitive handling – Economical operation
A comfortable ambience in all hotel rooms is guaranteed. Each of the 129 rooms is equipped with a powerful control system in order to efficiently control ventilation and air conditioning as required.
For this purpose the hotel management relies on the JOY Fancoil Controller from Thermokon.
The appealing design of the JOY emphasizes the high-quality rooms furnishings and intuitive operation for all guests. A keycard switch allows guests to activate the comfort mode when entering the room and control the ventilation as desired.
From the operator's point of view, the cost savings achieved by connecting JOY Fancoil to the building management system are tremendous. The project was conducted by Syscom Automationstechnik GmbH, who deliberately went for the Thermokon JOY fancoil thermostats. For example, window contacts ensure that the rooms cannot be cooled or heated at the same time when the windows are open. If, on the other hand, rooms are unoccupied, the system automatically switches to lowering mode and thus optimises the air-conditioning costs.
All persons in charge at the Vienna House Ernst Leitz Hotel are therefore highly satisfied: The maintenance-free JOY Fancoil Controllers perform flawlessly, are characterised by intuitve, powerful operation and provide a significant contribution to efficiency and economical operation.
