What began almost playfully – in collaboration with other ‘children’ of the industry – was characterised by a spirit of teaching and learning. The aim was to raise awareness of the still young battery-free wireless technology and to show that all central requirements of building automation could be reliably met with EnOcean-based wireless products.
Today, 23 years later, this joint venture has become a success story. More than 1 million Thermokon products from the ‘EasySens’ wireless family with battery-free and wireless EnOcean technology are in use worldwide. They help to operate buildings more intelligently, conserve resources and relieve the burden on operators and users in the long term.
The performance of this globally established wireless technology is demonstrated in numerous national and international reference projects: from the Uniqa Tower in Vienna to Doha Airport in Qatar to the Semperoper in Dresden. In such demanding buildings, the solutions from Thermokon and EnOcean prove their maximum reliability and flexibility.
Even after two decades, the partnership is a living example of how shared visions, trust and continuous development can shape sustainable buildings worldwide.
