Timer for energy-saving and amplification functions in indoor ventilation and lighting applications. The user selects and starts a time interval using a push button on the device. The end of a time interval occurs automatically after the set time has elapsed or can be terminated manually ahead of time. The integrated display shows the available time intervals as well as the remaining time of a timer. In addition, the setting options on the circuit board allow different groups of time intervals and display settings to be configured according to individual requirements. During activation of the timer, the relay remains active, enabling reliable control of the devices. After the set time has elapsed, the relay automatically drops out, deactivating the connected components. The timer functions can be used, for example, in office applications when increased ventilation is required outside normal working hours. The timer can also be used, for example, to limit the running time of a supply voltage for certain electronic devices.
