thevios 5 is a powerful IP multi-sensor for ceiling mounting and operates as a stand-alone sensor. By combining several measured variables in one device, it provides precise room data and enables efficient and demand-based control of modern buildings.

The sensor is seamlessly integrated into the building automation system via BACnet IP. This means that all relevant room parameters are available in near real time and can be used directly to control air conditioning, shading and lighting. Quick installation and easy commissioning make it easy to use in both new and existing buildings.

An integrated LED ring also ensures transparency in the room. Using an intuitive traffic light function, it visualises conditions such as air quality or room occupancy directly on site. The LED ring can be configured flexibly. Users can immediately recognise critical situations and react accordingly – even without access to the building management system. It can be linked to an internal sensor measurement, for example to visualise air quality, temperature or room conditions. Alternatively, the display can also be controlled directly via the building management system so that individual status displays or system messages can be shown. If necessary, the LED ring can be completely deactivated.

Typical areas of application are offices, schools, seminar and conference rooms, etc.
