thevios 3 ceiling sensors are used for reliable motion and brightness detection and, depending on the variant, for additional detection of relevant room climate parameters. Ceiling mounting ensures comprehensive and uniform room coverage, making the sensors particularly suitable for office spaces.

The sensors provide control information for the demand-based regulation of HVAC systems and lighting. Occupancy information can be used, for example, to automatically activate room functions or to switch off energy-efficiently when the room is unoccupied.

Optionally, climate parameters such as temperature and relative humidity can be recorded. These measured values can be integrated directly into the building automation system and enable demand-based and optimised room climate control.

Typical applications are: office and administrative buildings, conference and meeting rooms, educational institutions (schools, universities), hotels and public buildings.

The combination of motion detection and room climate sensors reduces the number of individual devices required in the room, which reduces installation effort, costs and integration complexity.
