SAB+ – The new wireless valve actuator

SAB+ – The new wireless valve actuator

The new EasySens® wireless valve actuator SAB+ was especially designed for an optimized energy-efficient control of radiators and underfloor heating in commercial spaces.

Thermal energy-harvesting: the new SAB+ uses the temperature difference between ambient and radiator temperature to generate enough energy in order to drive the valve and send/receive EnOcean telegrams (so-called „Seebeck Effect“). For a successful and quick mounting, the SAB+ will be delivered with an already charged capacitor.

The communication protocol is based on the interoperable EnOcean standard for wireless building automation. Demand-controlled heating is now as easy as never before due to no maintenance or battery replacments being required. Remarkable loads of energy and subsequently heating costs can be saved.

The Seebeck effect

The SAB+ is energy-sufficient and generates its required energy through temperature differences (thermal energy-harvesting). By means of a thermal-electric generator (TEG), the temperature difference between ambient room temperature and radiator supply temperature make up for sufficient operating energy.

Room Control

Each room can be controlled individually, based on occupancy or when required. For example, the SAB+ can only be triggered in the morning to heat up the room and go to lowering mode during the day.

Easy integration into your network

Your controller works as a master for an efficient and comfortable room control. The only difference is, that the SAB+ can be retrofitted at any point and integrates seamlessly into your network as an addition – making replacement of batteries or maintenance checks redundant.
